We’re happy to announce the arrival of our second Canon Océ Varioprint i300 - an inkjet printer so big it took two trucks to deliver it!
After a year of strong sales growth, and following on from the successful installation of our first Canon in July 2019, we’re marking our 10th anniversary with the installation of a second i300. Our choice to invest in our first i300 last year expanded our capacity for print-on-demand solutions considerably, and we anticipate that the arrival of our second will increase that even further.
The i300’s extremely high quality print, reliable and consistent output, and huge variety of formats and paper options boost speed and quality while reducing running costs.
This printer’s green credentials are also impressive, and instrumental in our decision to install a second machine. The machine the Canon is replacing used toner, while the i300 uses fully recyclable inkjet inks; this means that no microplastics are used in the printing process. The i300 also boasts reduced energy consumption per page printed, helping to improve our energy efficiency.
Along with our upcoming solar panel project, where we will cover the roof of our premises in panels in a drive to become greener and more energy efficient, our second i300 is part of our ongoing and expanding commitment to greater environmental responsibility.
Canon have proven themselves to be a reliable and trusted partner. Our initial decision to install the first i300 followed on from in-depth consultations with Canon, as we continue to invest in technology and skills to ensure we can continuously improve, delivering high quality, cutting edge solutions for our customers.
We’ll be updating you over the coming weeks on the progress of the installation, so watch this space!
At Latcham, green is our dream. The installation of our second i300 is part of our wider strategy to become a greener company. Find out more here.
