We are very proud to have grown the team at Latcham by ten people over the past twelve months. This is across a variety of departments to support the continued expansion of the Company, as we go from strength to strength.
As with every business, we have had to pivot quickly and adjust to the new conditions we have all found ourselves working under, but underpinning this has been a well-defined road map which we have continued to execute and is yielding results for the business.
Mike Hughes, Managing Director said “We are delighted to have been able to create new job opportunities. It is always exciting to bring new talent onboard. Not only does it help inject fresh ideas and new perspectives, but also enables individuals to learn different skills and gain experience through Latcham, so it becomes a virtuous circle. And of course, we become even more diverse as a team, which brings wider benefits too.” Mike added “We are acutely aware that other companies have not been so fortunate due to the effects of lockdown, and we feel a genuine concern for them. We have supported some local businesses and have a policy of using local skills where possible, as part of our approach to sustainability.”
Earlier in the year, Latcham announced that it is participating in the Government’s Kickstart Scheme, helping to get younger people aged between 16 and 24 years who have been among those hardest hit by the economic impact of the pandemic, into employment. So far over 120,000 jobs have been created, since the scheme started in September 2020.
And there are plans to strengthen the team even further during the course of this year, as we focus on our specialist sectors and develop our range of services and solutions in response to customer needs.
