# Latcham achieves a ‘Standards Exceeded’ rating with the NHS Data Security and Protection (DSP) Toolkit

**We’re proud to announce that Latcham have achieved compliance with the NHS’s [DSP Toolkit](https://www.dsptoolkit.nhs.uk) with a rating of ‘Standards Exceeded’.**

The DSP Toolkit is a self-assessment tool developed by the NHS to ensure organisations can measure their security practices against the National Data Guardian’s ten data security standards. This is a required process for any organisation that handles NHS patient data and systems.

Our Managing Director, Mike Hughes, said: “We’re very pleased to have demonstrated that Latcham comply with the standards set in the DSP Toolkit with a rating of Standards Exceeded. This Information Governance Statement of Compliance rating, along with our ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus accreditations, demonstrates that we provide the highest possible level of data security and privacy for patient records and information.”
